There was a fieldhockey game over the week-end. It was very sunny and hot. Over 30 degrees. With these temperatures, I was not in the mood to take my big equipment with me. Therefore I tried my Leica Q3 43 for this. For faster writing speed most images were with Jpegs L 60MP only and then a lot of cropping afterwards. Only later, I switched to DNG only and tried that.
Unfortunately, the Leica Q3 43 does allow only 1/2000s maximum mechanical shutter speed. To avoid rolling shutter, I was limited with the aperture in bright light. I chose 1/2000s with F4 and F5.6, but still I needed to correct exposure in PP by -1,5 stops very often.
With F2.0, I could have blurred the background more, but this was impossible with such a bright light.
I was impressed by the image quality with such huge crops. This lens is really incredible. The dynamic range of the sensor helped me a lot, too.
Compare the original size of the image and the cropped results:

Almost no PP done. Only exposure and lifting sometimes the shadows. Click on the images to enlarge them. I would never have thought, that this would be possible with a Leica Q3 43!
